I decided not to stay in Istanbul for the rest of my stay in Turkey. For two days, I went directly to all and spent 12 hours each day visits to Istanbul and wandering around trying to absorb it. A German man and Canadian man of my hostel joined me for the second day. We went to the Istanbul Museum of Modern Art, which had a lot of Dali banners on the outside of it. We didn't know that Dalí exhibition was "far" after the museum until we entered. It was small but I think it useful to read the 7 entrance fee. We also checked the city, or the new part of town. It is strange to see modern skyscrapers of glass for the first time in a while. Istanbul is certainly a city of contrasts.
I spent my last hours in Istanbul drinking and playing chess with the Canadians and Real Madrid at the hostel. They were one of the best groups of people I met here and I started to wish I had a few more days in Istanbul. Instead, I took a hot, stifling overnight bus to Olympos, this beach city on the Mediterranean. I'm staying in this village that Treehouse is very well by the festival to welcome travelers. I leave on Friday for a four-day trip sailing in the Mediterranean in this place called Fethiye.
That's all for now. I must go to a nap because this place has a Nighter feel to it. Oh, it seems that the thing to do in the middle of the night here is hiking up the cliff where these fires natural gas have been burning for thousands of years.
